Featured Presenters
Seeking to boost brand awareness and gain more strategic insights, LogicMonitor set out to expand the analyst audience it reaches. With a long list of AR priorities, however, and a small team, AR director Brandon Davis wanted more expert hands on deck. Leveraging AR services, LogicMonitor was able to drive a 340% increase in the number of analysts it updates and engages with. In particular, Brandon will share how LogicMonitor and its support team increased face-to-face analyst meetings and active analyst engagement — resulting in more research inclusions, better research outcomes, an elevated market presence, and more key insights funneled to the business to guide product (and overall) strategy.
With hundreds of analysts to reach, Splunk’s AR team faced a communications challenge: how to balance strategic engagements for Tier 1s with additional, regular updates for other impactful firms and analysts. By implementing an Analyst Portal – a secure, digital destination for analysts – Splunk has been able to scale outreach and keep 300+ analysts in-the-loop... all while navigating evolving market dynamics and internal change. Splunk’s Rachel Bernstein and Sophie Kwon will discuss how the Portal supports Splunk’s AR priorities, including nurturing analysts into advocates and reducing time spent on RFIs and briefings for vendor evaluations. Attendees will also hear how the AR team continually refines its Portal strategy by collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance content and using engagement analytics to identify trends in content consumption among analysts, tiers and firms.
Placements within vendor evaluations are often seen as the ultimate measure of analyst relations success. However, to capture more market share and mindshare, companies need to think beyond a dot in a quadrant and integrate AR more broadly into competitive strategies. Sarah Robin, head of analyst relations at The Trade Desk, will share AR metrics for success (vendor evaluations and far beyond). She will also describe how companies can use AR as part of a holistic approach to understanding and addressing prospects’ unique challenges. Attendees will also learn how The Trade Desk’s AR team collaborates across functions – using AR to increase the impact of market positioning and competitive assets.
In today’s fast-paced and fiercely competitive market, integrating industry analysts into your sales strategy can be the secret weapon that sets you apart. Beyond their traditional role in research and evaluation, analysts can provide intelligence and insights that help close high-stakes deals. When AR partners effectively with sales and marketing, you can collectively uncover key opportunities for analyst involvement, sharpen competitive positioning, and provide the unbiased insights that can turn a “maybe” into a “yes.” This session from Jennifer Borun, senior director, analyst relations and strategic engagement at Cornerstone OnDemand, will dive into proven methodologies and showcase real-world success stories: showing how bringing in analysts at pivotal stages of the sales cycle can influence and accelerate the close, turning potential into profit.
Every AR program, regardless of its resources, grapples with the constant challenge of bandwidth. In boom times, everyone wants AR’s attention, and in tough times, AR often faces cuts. AR leaders are caught in the push and pull of managing demands, whether the economy is soaring or slowing. So, how can AR effectively support stakeholder priorities with the resources at hand? As Beth Snellen, analyst relations strategist at IBM, will share, the answer lies in AR leaders focusing in on their company’s most critical goals, strategically aligning their team to deliver on those priorities with precision, and knowing when to leverage external support to amplify their impact. In this presentation, Beth will dive into the above areas to help AR teams drive productivity and maximize AR’s overall impact. As a former Gartner analyst, Beth will also share strategies to help AR professionals develop mutually beneficial relationships with key analysts in their market.
Ever wondered what your peers are doing as they build and execute their AR plans? Join us for a sneak peek at key numbers and trends that drive your AR world. Bill Hopkins, founder and CEO of the Knowledge Capital Group (KCG), and Stephen England, KCG president and partner, will provide an early, exclusive look at results from KCG’s annual AR professional and AR department surveys — as well as data on much-watch trends and AR outcomes. Get the latest, most comprehensive, and accurate information on AR salaries, budgets, team sizes, priorities, and best practices. You’ll also see how your peers use and value the firms in the KCG Analyst UniverseTM: the “Big 3” (Gartner, Forrester, IDC), as well as “Point Players,” “Asset Creators and Amplifiers,” and “Mind Share Mercenaries.”

Breakout Block 1
Topic 1: Enhancing AR’s Strategic Role with Analyst Content Review Services
Is your company rolling out messaging for a new product or targeted at a new persona? Are you going through a rebrand and want to make sure corporate messaging “lands”? Do you have website content, whitepapers, investor pitch decks or other collateral that could use a second set of eyes? Many AR professionals don’t realize that analyst firm contracts often enable them to tap analysts for document reviews. In this interactive breakout session, Sarita Kincaid, VP of AR at SugarCRM, will share what content review services encompass, how she uses them (particularly Gartner’s services) for what deliverables, and what impact they’ve had. Attendees will also learn how to unlock the potential of often-underutilized content review services: using them to make messaging more effective and aligned to industry trends and insights – while elevating AR’s role and positioning the AR team as strategic collaborations with other industries and functions.
Speakers:
Sarita Kincaid
VP of Analyst Relations, SugarCRM
Topic 2: AR Metrics that Matter: Demonstrating Real Value
AR people see the strategic value of their work every day, reading reports that serve as signposts for their markets, attending inquiries that are full of meaningful advice and opportunities to exploit, and the briefings and coverage that share the best version of the company with the outside world. Yet the complaint that people just don't understand AR is still rampant. How can AR convert the value we see into profitable changes, build champions in the organization and accumulate the power to do more?
In this breakout workshop, we’ll discuss how AR measurement and reporting can change to incorporate the impact AR has on decision making inside and outside the company, showing how AR supports the ways others in the company measure themselves, and connect AR’s success to the success of the company.
Speakers:
Greg Wind
VP of Services, ARInsights
Dan Lake
VP of Sales, ARInsights
Patty Wind
VP of Services, ARInsights
Topic 3: ARchitect Integration Workshop: Customizing Your AR Tech Stack
This interactive session will explore ideas about how ARchitect could be better integrated into your existing systems. This discussion will provide an opportunity to explore various integration options and potential workflows that align with your specific needs. We'll dive into how you'd like to integrate ARchitect to streamline your processes, enhance productivity, and optimize your workflows. Attendees will have the chance to share ideas and ask questions, and we will share some use cases using Zapier as an integration platform.

Anthony Pisano

VP of Engineering, ARInsights

Topic 4: Creating Impactful Deliverables to Support Sales Teams
What analyst content can best help support sales? What are best practices to provide guidance when an evaluation outcome is not positive? How can I avoid last minute fire drill requests for analyst content? Join us for this collaborative workshop session where best practice ideas will be converted into deliverable templates that can be used to support sales and delivery teams. The workshop will be facilitated by Kara Lira who has extensive experience supporting sales and delivery teams in her previous roles at Capgemini and Cognizant. Templates for deliverables will be shared following the event.
Speakers:
Kara Lira
Sr. Director, AR Services, ARInsights
Topic 5: Defining Analyst Perception: Do You Know It When You See It?
Perception is a point of view, nearly by default, and even if a team can agree on a strong definition for what a label means, that doesn't guarantee everyone who sees the perception rating will understand the intent. Is it your point of view or the analyst's? Is a negative comment about the market reflective of your company or the effectiveness of the inquiry? How do we use negative or positive sentiment scores to improve our future efforts?
With perception scores becoming a more pervasive part of AR measurement and AI perception analysis taking off as a tool for AR, it's worth a pause to consider the basis for perception evaluation, how we define perception and how we report it for greatest clarity and impact. In this breakout workshop, we will explore common existing perception capture models, such as NPS and peer reviews, discuss different ways to define sentiment for consistency and propose methods for capturing and reporting sentiment that point to clear actions.
Speakers:
Greg Wind
VP of Services, ARInsights
Topic 6: Blueprint for Success: Building Your AR Plan in ARchitect
In this hands-on workshop, we’re diving into building an Analyst Relations (AR) plan using ARchitect! We’ll be rolling up our sleeves and getting practical, focusing on how to use Projects and plan for future-looking interactions to build strong relationships with key analysts. You’ll learn how to organize your AR activities, map out long-term engagement strategies, and keep things on track with saved views and reports. These tools will help you easily track your progress, stay on top of your goals, and reflect on everything you’ve accomplished.
