An essential part of the analyst relations (AR) job description is being — and staying — in the know. For AR pros, this involves knowing what key analysts and other influencers are saying about their company, products, competitors and industry. Conveying that knowledge internally doesn’t just help refine AR strategies; it’s also often used to shape marketing messaging, product development and more — cementing AR’s strategic role in the business.

But tracking coverage and intelligence across myriad mediums can eat up the whole day if you let it! So, ARchitect Premium Content — our most popular ARchitect add-on, used by three out of four ARchitect subscribers — automates this process. Updated daily, our Premium Content database makes it easy to search analyst research (with metadata from 30+ firms), analyst blogs (over 1,000 of them), analyst quotes in the media (across 2 million+ sources) and analyst social posts (X and LinkedIn).

Plus, as peer review sites increasingly intersect with AR, Premium Content also pulls in user reviews from G2, PeerSpot and select other sites by request — so you can better identify potential references and monitor customer sentiment.

Because Premium Content is chock full of useful and actionable information (all synthesized and visible from a single, central interface), we devoted our latest Learning Series webinar to this solution. Check out the on-demand replay — with details on what Premium Content is, how to use it to track key mentions, how to power reports based on the data, and more — directly below:

As you’ll see, the Learning Series covers:

  • Premium Content how-to’s. Learn how to search and filter coverage, and save articles (manually or automatically) to your articles section. This way, they can be used to power reports.
  • Coverage notifications. You can set up email or Slack notifications — specifying the frequency — so you’re alerted if something publishes that you’re interested in (e.g., based on the topic, analyst, etc.).
  • Recent AI-based features in Premium Content. Our AI Topic Snapshots highlight the top areas an analyst has focused on in the last 90 days, along with that analyst’s sentiment around them.
  • Reporting based on Premium Content data. Our two most popular report types are mentions reports (looking at your analyst coverage across a defined period of time — from selected analysts, firms, Tier 1s or other groupings) and share of voice (SOV) reports (showing how your analyst coverage stacks up against key competitors’). SOV reports not only show who’s writing about your business, but they can give you insights into who isn’t and should be — so you can refine your outreach.
  • Tips for reporting success. Our VP of Services Greg Wind, a longtime AR practitioner and ARchitect power user, shared some best practices for generating reports from Premium Content data. Among his advice: Check the dates when you’re running reports. You want to make sure you’re including information from your desired timeframe. Also, if anything looks “off” to you (e.g., unexpected volume of coverage), click to see the data/inclusions behind the report, so you understand what’s been included. In addition, consider the sources/mediums you include in your reporting: If you’re doing SOV reporting, for instance, you may not want LinkedIn, X and peer review data pulled in. Running a report on just research inclusions is another way to validate your data. (Is a competitor not showing any research in this timeframe when they should? Did someone get more than expected? etc.) ARInsights’ support team (support@arinsights.com) can likewise help with report generation and questions, to make sure you’re best tapping into the power of your data.

We hope this Learning Series was valuable to you!
